AP 6511

Motorola’s AP 6511 solution can deliver a high performance network, ease of access, reliability and performance consistency, transforming your hotel into a premium guest experience. Motorola’s AP 6511 is specially designed for today’s most challenging wireless LAN environments, namely dormitories and hotel guest rooms.

Conventional access points were not built for installation in hotel guest rooms. With Motorola’s AP 6511, you are able to install it within minutes, utilizing the existing category 5 or 6 cabling already within your hotel’s infrastructure. This is expressly effective as installation is easily repeatable and will hence result in savings in terms of time and total cost of a room wireless LAN solution installation. This solution provides high performance and coverage. The small and sleek footprint of the AP 6511 enables it to fit into any room’s décor with minimal intrusion.

The AP 6511 features an intelligent self-optimising Controller AP code that allows a small area to inherit the benefits and power of a central controller, eliminating your need for a dedicated RF switch, thus promoting further cost savings to your advantage. This central controller includes automatic adoption, central configuration and status, and automatic RF management.

For larger areas or properties, the AP 6511 can still be easily managed by Motorola’s WiNG-based RF switches for increased scalability and integration with various indoor and outdoor 802.11n access points. All these flexible configurations enable you to boost your wireless solutions and services portfolio and concentrate on what matters most to your business, your customers!

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
